At Vitalship, we treat the body, mind, and spirit while taking a whole body approach to all your medical needs. We believe in getting to the root or your issues–not just treating symptoms.

During your appointments, we will always look into your diet, needs, pain, and health, and apply our understanding to your treatment plans.

What we put into our bodies is just as important as the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the lifestyle we create. We'll always put your needs above all.

The Vital Force

From birth, we all have an inherent self-healing process - the Vital Force - that maintains the harmony of the many organs and systems within our body. Its job is to naturally and innately heal, protect, and maintain homeostasis within the body. This force is also the reason we can adapt to environmental changes for our survival–evolution.

Although everyone has a Vital Force, their healing capabilities may vary and require further nourishment to thrive. Because of this reality, we strive to inform our patients about recognizing, understanding, and supporting their Vital Force.

Our namesake is inspired by this mission! As a team, we've embarked on a journey to become each of our patients' "vessels of healing," as we teach them the foundations of their health to strengthen their individual Vital Forces. We are the vital ship that transports patients to a more natural, healthier, and holistic lifestyle.

The Seven Laws of Health

Naturopathy recognizes how your overall health can be drastically improved by simply practicing healthier habits within seven major areas of your life; Breathwork, sleep, hydration, sunshine, movement, nutrition, and fun. Each of these major areas is called "the seven laws of health" in naturopathy medicine.

So what does this mean for you, our dear patient?

It means there are certain laws or “fundamentals” of health you can follow to prevent disease while enhancing your health; like good nutrition, movement, and stress management. And once you master these, you reduce your risk of future illness. This is in part why we focus on preventative healthcare and look at healing the body to improve overall function and quality of life.

What does this look like in practice?

When applying these laws to your life, you will implement nutritional plans that support your body and its goals. You practice proper breathwork throughout your day and have a well-developed sleep hygiene protocol you adhere to. Incorporating movement into your daily routine is accompanied by exposure to sunshine supported by hydration, and you are regularly having fun with friends, family, and other loved ones.
